Comicon 2014 in Dallas - Pics and more!

What's up? this is Evul, 1/3 of Children Of the Zodiac. I was out in Dallas for the annual Dallas Comicon on Sunday, 5/18, promoting COZ and Cemetary Recordz. I was giving out mini-flyers for a link to download a COZ Sampler album (we'll be posting the link soon!), as well as checking out all this years Comicon had to offer! This year's was the best by far in My opinion!

First off, the Dallas Convention Center was much better a location than the one's they've used in the past. There was so much to see, unfortunately, we didn't get to check it all out, but as for what we DID get to, it was awesome! The best thing overall, was getting to finally meet Robert Englund, aka Freddy Krueger! Man, I've been a hardcore NOES/Freddy fan my whole life, and I've waited 28 YEARS for the day I'd get to shake the hand of none other than Freddy Krueger! Luckily, for going on Sunday, the lines were super short, and I actually only had to wait like 5 mins, to meet him! My friend, April, went on Saturday, and had to wait like 2 1/2 hours! Anyway, Robert Englund was a cool-ass dude, exactly how I've always heard him to be. I gave him a hand-sculpted Freddy head that I had made like a month before, and he was super-appreciative and shook my hand and said, "Man, that is awesome! I'll stick it in my office!" He autographed my Pic, then said, "Well, we taking a pic?" He saw that I had a machete in my hand, and quickly grabbed it, and said, "I'm using this!," sticking it out from under his arm, like he'd been stabbed. We took the pic, and said, "thank you, Robert, this means alot to me," and he smiled and gave me a hug. Coolest dude ever. I don't jock anyone, but Freddy/Robert Englund was my hero growing up, and to finally meet him was an honor. I'll remember that day til I die. Anyway, after that I was good lol I just wanted to wander around and pass out flyers and get hella pics of all the Cosplayers (we managed to snipe a pic of Michael Rooker, lol). It was an awesome day, and I can't wait for next year! - E
